LPG is an environmentally friendly source of energy with a wide range of applications: domestic (heating, cooking, hot water production), industrial, agricultural, catering and automotive fuel.
LPG is obtained from the processing of natural gas (60%) and also from the refining of crude oil (40%). 200 million tonnes of LP gas were produced in 2006, accounting for approximately 2-3% of primary energy consumption worldwide.
