For SHV Energy, making an impact means providing safe, lower-carbon, cleaner, accessible and affordable energy options to as many customers and companies as possible. It also means helping to reduce emissions and improve air quality. And, lastly, it means never compromising on the highest health and safety standards.
Our core LPG and LNG products enable us to provide cleaner energy options to the significant, but often overlooked, off-grid segment of consumers and businesses, replacing highly polluting fuels such as oil and coal.
As worldwide demand for energy is expected to increase in coming decades, the increased energy use on our natural resources and on climate change will be significant if changes are not made today to ensure a sustainable future. As a family-owned company with a long-term view, we are uniquely positioned to be part of the solution.
Our core products and our growing sustainable fuels and renewable solutions portfolio support our customers and they allow us to actively contribute to the urgent demands of our planet and drive the energy transition.
