Lucía’s story: Bringing resilience and community to Primagas Spain

Bringing resilience and community to Primagas
Lucía Lambruschini, Supply Chain Coordinator at Primagas Spain, has an inspiring background as an engineer of German-Argentinian nationality who faced and overcame various challenges upon her arrival in Spain. Her journey epitomises resilience, adaptability and determination, making her story deeply moving and closely aligned with the values of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Since joining Primagas Spain in July 2022, Lucía has gained new responsibilities, transitioning from more operational tasks to taking strategic decisions and managing different continuous improvement projects.  For example, as well as being a key figure in the complete digitalisation of Primagas Spain’s supply chain, she is also leading efforts to develop the sustainability module–a dedicated section within the digital system focused on sustainability-related elements. This initiative integrates sustainability into key operational processes, enhancing both delivery management and forecasting capabilities.

Lucía also oversees the purchase of LPG at Primagas Spain – both managing existing suppliers, such as SRM, and finding new ones to support the business growth ambitions. In addition, she has been included in SHV Energy’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) project – responsible for climate change and collaborating with colleagues on sustainability projects and reports.

Finally, Lucía and her workmates organise diversity activities to encourage integration among the many nationalities represented at Primagas Spain – currently around 15.

These efforts illustrate Lucía’s understanding of the soft skills that are such an essential component of maintaining excellent connections between colleagues. Activities include preparing meals from different national cuisines, learning words and phrases in other colleagues’ languages and sharing customs such as drinking maté – all of which allow our diverse workforce to share and celebrate their respective cultures while growing closer as a group.
