GASPOL's FREE initiative reaches SABRE award finals

The FREE initiative in Poland, driven by Gaspol, has been nominated for a prestigious SABRE award in the category Energy and Natural Resources. The FREE initiative aims to raise awareness of the responsible energy options available to rural homes and businesses that do not have access to the same energy infrastructure, solutions and support as urban areas. The utimate goals of the initiative are to reduce energy bills, create new jobs and protect the environment.

National acclaim

The FREE campaign in Poland was commissioned by GASPOL as part of its GASPOL Supports the
Environment programme launched in 2009. The nomination for the international SABRE award follows national acclaim for the Polish version of FREE. The campaign won the Golden Clip award organised by the Polish Public Relations Consultancies Association, and featured as an example of good practice on the Responsible Business in Poland
2012 Forum. The SABRE Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious international Public Relations competitions, is organised by the Holmes Group in New York. The winners of this year’s European edition will be announced on 30 May in Barcelona.
