Supergasbras works hard to create engaged, high-performing  teams that contribute to our strategic objectives. This ambition is also part of the SHV Energy Advancing Energy Together approach, which has “People” as the base of all strategic pillars. Our “People” project aims to define and prioritise key actions that will help us achieve our goal of being internally and externally recognised as one of the best companies to work for.

One of the top 50 most loved companies to work for

We have made important achievements in this area during the last two years. Love Mondays ranked Supergasbras as one of the 50 companies most loved by current and former employees. The rank is described on their website, which is a platform where professionals evaluate the companies they are working at or used to work for. Contrary to other market rankings, this list is based on ratings posted by employees in a spontaneous and confidential way. The award criteria centre around the employee's general satisfaction with the company, and consider a variety of aspects such as compensation and benefits, career opportunity, organisational culture and quality of life. This is the second time that Supergasbras has received the award – the first was in 2015.

Great Place To Work certification

We also received certification from the Great Place to Work Institute (GPTW) in 2018. This institute has a global presence, and is active in more than 50 countries. It is the first time that we been certified in the institute’s research, which uses employee responses to evaluate the work environment. To acquire the certification, our employees needed to have evaluated the company as an excellent place to work according to the Great Place to Work methodology, which is based on five dimensions: credibility, respect, impartiality, pride and camaraderie. Over 80% of our employees participated, and some of the positive highlights included a sense of belonging, the absence of discrimination, opportunities for growth, benefits and strong alignment with employee needs.
